Animal's Journey is how Dr. Jo and her team see their role... to help an animal stay fit and healthy as you and your pet enjoy each moment together. The key step to is to reduce their stress, and so the mobile service was born.
Meet the team...
Or Dr Jo, as she's fondly known, started her journey in Wellington before embarking on a global adventure that took her to places like Texas, Dubai, Singapore, and South Africa.
I have since worked in various clinics, hospitals, farm vets and shelters in New Zealand, Australia, United States, and South Africa.
I have expanded my expertise to include acupuncture and rehabilitation.
Animals big and small!
I have nursed lions in South Africa, raised joeys in Tasmania, and taken my dogs for strolls along the beaches of New Zealand.
Bachelor of Veterinary Science from Massey University in 2010

Acupuncture Certification
Certified as a Fear Free professional, I love exploring the Kapiti Coast's natural beauty in her free time, whether it's beach walks, ocean swims, or bike rides.
I have a holistic approach to how I treat animals,
I don't wear a stethoscope - the incredible vet team handles the clinical magic - but I handle everything else.
Let me help you have a stress-free and seamless interaction with Animal's Journey.
Got a question? Confused about the next steps?
I'm your person
I coordinate the team: I make sure the Animal's Journey team shows up for you, with the right information.
I translate "Vet Speak": I ensure you always understand exactly what’s happening with your furry friend's care plan.
Trust isn't built just on medical expertise; it's built on reliable service and clear communication. I’ve worked hard with the team to design a process that you can genuinely trust.
When I'm not coordinating mobile clinics, you can find me cycling, chatting at cafes, coaching football, and devouring New Scientist magazine. My household is currently ruled by a one foot tall chihuahua called Bloss!
