Answers to your questions about at-home veterinary care, support, and what to expect on your pet’s journey.
In home veterinary care helps to eliminate the hassle and anxiety of taking your pet to a vet clinic and takes out travel time. It can provide more individualised care and gives your pet more time to adjust to the veterinarian and examination. When an animal is large and in chornic pain reducing the stress of getting them in a car can greatly reduce stress for your pet and yourself.
We offer similar things that a standard veterinary clinic provides:
With more involved cases or cases that need surgery, further diagnostic testing or intensive care we work with local veterinary clinics to be able to provide that for your pet.
While we try to be able to get to your pet as soon as possible; we can be out on the road and may be more delayed than is recommended. Ifyour pet has collapsed, has a severe injury, been exposed to a toxin, or additional severe symptoms it may be best to take your animal to a veterinary hospital. Please do call as we can advise you of our time frame and recommend the best course of action for your pet.
Mobile vets offer a lot of benefits especially for puppies and kittens, elderly pets, anxious pets and multi-pet households.
Treatment at home helps to maximise their comfort and safety and also convenice for you.
We mainly see dogs and cats; occasionally rabbits, guinea pigs and rats. We can offer physio and rehabilitation and acupuncture for horses as well.
If this is your pet’s first appointment; please send through their medical history and have any questions or concerns written down. If your pet has particular anxieties or concerns let us know so we can ensure our arrival minimises stress. Generally we arrive and offer treats, chat with your\ and get to know your pet before any examination or diagnostic procedure commences.
